WABE Meetups

WABE Meetups are free, casual gatherings held annually, with the Winnipeg meetup traditionally taking place on the first Monday in May. Additional meetups are also organized in other cities.

These events are open to anyone interested in media and entertainment technology and provide an opportunity to connect with the local community of professionals working in the field. Students, retirees, and those exploring or entering the industry are all welcome.

WABE Meetups are designed to be both social and professionally engaging, helping people build industry connections within their region. The events also welcome sales professionals and vendors who wish to connect with the local technical community. They are intended for those currently working in the industry, those seeking opportunities, or anyone looking to strengthen their professional network within the broadcast, film, AV production, and live events sectors.
