Sébastien Testeau

Sébastien is a seasoned media technology architect with almost 20 years of expertise, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering and a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence. Combined with his architectural, development, and leadership skills, these allow him to deliver innovative solutions.

At CBC/Radio-Canada, Sébastien is leading the adoption of c2pa. He also leverages AI to improve content discoverability and understanding with large language models.

Before that, Sébastien was an architect in research and development for 15 years at The National Film Board of Canada where he tackled critical projects in media archiving, video encoding and streaming, video understanding, search and computer vision.

Kirk Nesbitt

Kirk is the Technical Advisor to the Canadian Association of Broadcasters.

The Canadian Association of Broadcasters (CAB) is the national voice of Canada’s private broadcasters, representing the vast majority of Canadian programming services, including private radio and television stations, networks, specialty, pay and pay-per-view services.

Kirk is a professional engineer providing services to broadcasters, system integrators and equipment suppliers.

He is the Broadcasting Committee Chair of the Radio Advisory Board of Canada and a member of the Humber College Broadcast-Broadband Convergence Lab Advisory Committee.

Vladimir Anishchenko

Vladimir Anishchenko is the President & CTO of Avateq Corp.

Vlad has a PhD. In Instrumentation and Signal Processing.

With more than 30 years of extensive engineering experience in R&D and designing of Digital Signal Processing systems for a wide variety of applications; led the development of a number of systems: terrestrial repeaters, digital modulators for satellite, TV and radio, proprietary communication and broadcast solutions; signal analyzers and receivers for all major digital standards.
